Hello ,
In our business – constipation is a major complaint with many clients. When we think of constipation, we of course think of the physical discomfort this can bring, but what about all the other ways that constipation influences our lives?
Once the sewer system of a big city is not working anymore – it has a major on flow effect to all parts of the city. Same holds true for our bodily sewer system. If it is blocked, we might not notice all the related problems immediately, but you can be sure that over time you’ll
notice.
Starting with foggy thinking, mood swings and skin problems on the surface to high blood pressure, kidney and liver damage in the long run.
There is certainly a lot you can do about ‘constipation’ physically and we have plenty of articles in our library. But we are very complicated beings and every physical ailment also somewhere deep down has a emotional and spiritual connection. It might not always be important to explore those
other connections, but sometimes it can be the tip of the iceberg that is the missing link. To help us explore the emotional cause, the question we should ask ourselves is "what in our live is stopping us (constipating us)?" What is the first thing that comes to your mind? And what if anything can you do about it?
We always encourage our clients to look at life holistically, be open to the unexpected, love your body, even so it seems it might not love you at times. Have conversations, do research and dig deeper, but don’t overlook the simple ideas either.
I very rarely get sick these days, but I recently had COVID and to my surprise it turned out completely different then I imagined. Nobody I talked to had a similar experience and hence I was unprepared for the experience, because I couldn’t eat much, I couldn’t poop much, leading to a feeling of constipation
which exacerbated my COVID symptoms. Lucky I know some good Colon Hydrotherapist who helped me through the worst of it 😊
I had some preconceived idea about COVID from the stories I heard, and yes it was extremely unpleasant but at the same time it was also really interesting. It was interesting to see how my body was different now compared to when I was in my 20’s and I was grateful that I had learned to be kind to myself and be patient with my body. I was meditating on the physical, emotional and spiritual connection
the virus was unearthing in my life, which allowed me to stay calm during the process.
I think it is important in any kind of physical ailment to contemplate the challenges as well as the benefits this brings into our life’s. Most of the times people ask ‘what benefits?’ Why would I get benefits from this? But trust me – the more you go down that rabbit hole, the more interesting the story
gets.
So with this I leave you to explore your own Matrix.
Till next month
